Individuals interested in presentation design might be happy to learn that they can alter bullet point and number formatting in their PowerPoint documents to make their slides more appealing.
Mary Ann Richardson recently wrote in her blog for Tech Republic that bullets and numbers can sometimes be more prominent in presentations than many people would like and can distract an audience from the content being presented.
To change this, first, select the numbered text or bullet point which needs to be altered, then choose Bullets and Numbering from the menu bar.
Next, click the Numbered tab and in the Size box change this number to 80 - this will make all selected items 80 per cent the size of all surrounding text.
Meanwhile, Fast Company recently published a number of tips for individuals on how to avoid poor presentation design.
It noted that one of the major problems commonly seen in PowerPoint presentations is a presenter trying to cram too much information on to a single slide.
