The new BlackBerry Bold 9000 has an in-built PowerPoint function which allows users to create presentations on the go.
Phones Review has reported that the device allows individuals to access and create Microsoft Office documents, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel via the incorporation of Dataviz's Documents To Go software.
The phone has a 480 by 320 mm screen and is the first to use the new BlackBerry 4.6 operating system.
It also contains GPS and Wi-Fi capabilities and is equipped with a 624 MHz processor for increased usability and reduced thinking time when completing functions.
Prices are expected to be in the region of £430.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal recently reported that many business individuals will soon be able to dispense with their laptops altogether and simply use their smartphones to carry out all their work-related tasks.
It noted that a recent survey carried out by In-Stat showed that 52 per cent of businesses could now envision a time when all work is carried out on small, hand-held devices.
