Members of the British Legion in Eastwood honoured their fallen comrades on Sunday (November 9th) with two minutes of silence and a Remembrance Day PowerPoint presentation.
British Legion poppy organiser Maria Kirk organised the presentation which showed pictures of all the soldiers who died from the area during the first world war, detailing their names, where they were born, their families and where they died.
Town Mayor councillor Josie Forest said: "It gets better and better every year, but this was the best service by far.
"It was poignant - one of the old soldiers read a poem, that was lovely and the PowerPoint presentation was a fantastic idea."
Meanwhile, in the US, teachers at a primary school in Amesbury, Massachusetts recently put on a PowerPoint presentation to educate their students about the presidential election and its candidates.
Furthermore, the children were able to participate in a mock vote to decide who they felt was the best choice to become the next president.
